If you want to get involved then your Skipper will be more than happy to offer sail training and show you the ropes. Your Skipper will be responsible for the saftey of the vessel and no bond is required for your tour. Your Skipper could even take the kids off your hands as he teaches them how to snorkle and play beach cricket.
