Your sailing trip around the Whitsundays, will always pick up the main points of interest, however each trip is unique due to the vagaries of wind and tide. Your Skipper will design each tour to maximize the time to be spent and the best locations, With Islandive all boats are fast catamarans which means we can show you more of the Whitsundays.
No slow boats here, only fast sailing and fast motoring with twin turbo engines.
The trip colours below show a few different options your skipper may choose.
The trip in red will be used in light Southerly breezes and when you can do a full circumnavigation of the entire island group.
Highlights will be Blue Pearl Bay, Mantaray Bay, Luncheon, Border Iisland, Tongue point lookout over Hill inlet
The trip in Purple is a route your Skipper would take if he had North Easterly trade winds, Highlights of this trip would,be Caves cove, Mackeral bay, Mays Bay, Tongue point lookout, Hill inlet visit and central Whitehaven Beach.
The trip in Yellow is where you would go in quiet strong winds, Staying mostly to the inside of the Whitsunday Islands were you are protected from sometimes strong southerly winds. You would still see the spectacular dive sites of Mantaray and Luncheon, a trip to Langford reef beach would replace the trip out to whitehaven on rare occasions.

Islandive vessels all have permits to the stunning lookout at
Tongue Point this
photo was taken looking south back into hill inlet from the air.

The photo below shows the new lookout at Tongue point, This magnificent
viewing platform is only availble to selected companies that carry small tour
groups. The high capacity ferries are not able to visit tongue point lookout.
By only allowing small number tour groups it helps to maintain the serene
atmosphere found only at tonque point.
